Here is a clarification of your CBA.
The condition about living in the same household' applies only to a partner and not to a spouse. The status of 'spouse' is defined by having a legally valid marriage certificate, so there would be no need to impose any additional conditions. It is much more difficult to prove whether a 'partner' relationship exists or not, so to prevent people abusing the system, IA has included the condition that a partner is recognised as such only if they are living in the same household as the staff member.
You have applied correctly the CBA since July 2020 which marks the beginning of my separation with Maria Paula. Please confirm that you will continue to correctly apply the CBA.
